🗓️ What the session looks like

Three hours. One afternoon. Your child leaves with a real, published game and skills most adults don't have. Here's how the day unfolds:

🎓
The Real Game Development Pipeline
We kick off by teaching participants the same milestones professional studios use to ship games , from Inception all the way to Certification. This isn't simplified fluff; it's the actual language of the industry, sized for young creators.
❤️
Choose a Cause
Each child picks a Fort Worth cause they genuinely care about , animals, the library, food access, the environment, and more. This becomes the heartbeat of everything they build.
🎬
Become a Game Director
Every child becomes the Director of their own game. They choose the genre (runner, collector, platformer), name their hero, define the world, and write their own game brief , just like a real studio.
🎨
Concept Art & Creative Direction
Participants give visual and sound direction for their game, describing their world, characters, and style. The GiveBounty Game Jam Engine translates their creative vision into a real playable game. No coding, no drawing skills required.
🔬
Play, Test & Improve
Children play their game live on screen as soon as it exists and give real QA feedback: what feels great, what's broken, what needs to change. We iterate together until the game feels right.
🚀
Ship It
Every child's game goes live at a real URL on givebounty.org. They walk out of the session as a published game developer with a link to share with family, friends, and the whole Fort Worth community.
🎮 What they take home: A published game, a real URL to share, and the confidence of having shipped something real.

About Your Instructor

A games industry leader who believes in the power of games to strengthen community in Fort Worth

Davis Tiblier
Founder & Instructor
🎮 2K Games
🕹️ Ubisoft
📍 Fairmount, Fort Worth
10+ years shipping games you've actually played.

Davis spent a decade in publishing at 2K Games and Ubisoft, shipping titles including Borderlands, Civilization, BioShock, Mafia, and XCOM at 2K, and Rainbow Six: Siege, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids, and For Honor at Ubisoft. He knows what it takes to take a game from idea to launch, and he built GiveBounty Games to share that experience with Fort Worth kids.

He's a Fort Worth local, a dad, and a neighbor. Davis lives in the Fairmount neighborhood with his wife Miranda and two young children. He started GiveBounty Games because he believes every kid deserves to feel what it's like to make something real.

"I've spent my career helping teams ship games that millions of people play. GiveBounty Games is about giving kids in our own community that same feeling, on their terms, for causes they care about."
