GiveBounty Games teaches children 8 and up to design and direct real games that trigger donations for local causes every time someone plays. No coding required. Just creativity, collaboration, and a lot of heart.
From blank page to published game in one afternoon
Children choose a local cause that matters to them the animal shelter, food bank, library, environment, and more.
Every child becomes the Director of their own game designing the hero, world, and mechanics with AI as their co-pilot.
Children play their game live on screen, give feedback like real QA testers, and iterate until it feels right.
Their game goes live on givebounty.org. Every time someone earns a GiveBounty, it unlocks a real donation for their cause.
No coding. No prior experience. Real 21st-century creative skills.Standards-aligned skills students practice by directing and shipping a real game, all in one afternoon.Real visibility with the local families you want to reach, plus the credit for making it possible.
How to direct AI like a tool, not a replacement. Children learn to prompt, refine, and lead keeping the creative vision their own.
TEKS · Practical Technology ConceptsGenre, story, characters, mechanics, aesthetics. Every creative decision belongs to the child. AI executes it.
TEKS · Creativity & InnovationReal studio milestones: Inception, First Playable, Alpha, QA, Ship. The actual language of the industry.
TEKS · Computational ThinkingHow to articulate what's not working and why. QA thinking. Iteration. The difference between vision and execution.
TEKS · Communication & CollaborationTheir game raises real contributions for causes they chose. Creativity with a purpose bigger than themselves.
TEKS · Digital CitizenshipThey leave with a published game at a live URL. Something they made, with their name on it, that the world can play.
TEKS · Data Literacy & RepresentationEvery child takes home a custom GiveBounty Games shirt with your logo to keep.
Your logo is featured prominently in the room, seen by the children and the parents who come to watch.
Your name and logo on the season's page at givebounty.org, where families and players see who made it possible.
Credited as the sponsor in three emails sent directly to the parents of every enrolled child.
Three posts to our followers, naming you as the reason this season is happening.
Your name on a season that does not happen without you. And because the games still give to local causes, your dollars work twice.
Not ready for a whole season? Sponsor as many seats as you like at $100 each. Every sponsored seat lets a local family attend at no cost. Email contact@givebounty.org and we'll set it up.
Every skill here maps to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Technology Applications, the standards Texas schools are required to teach in grades K-8. One afternoon covers all five strands, from computational thinking to digital citizenship.
GiveBounty Games is built to drop into the school day. Children direct and ship their own games while practicing the exact skills the state already asks you to teach, and they walk out with something real to show for it.
Every season aligns to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Technology Applications, touching all five strands in a single afternoon. Built-in evidence for your enrichment curriculum.
We provide and bring the devices, so your school needs nothing but internet and space. No equipment to buy, no software to install, no coding. A facilitator leads the room with a step-by-step playbook.
Each student leaves with a published game at a live URL and a certificate of completion. A finished, playable artifact, not a worksheet.
Designed for ages 8 to 11. Works as a library program, in-class enrichment, an after-school club, or a one-day event. We bring the structure, you bring the room.
One sponsorship of $1,500 funds an entire season. A season brings together up to ten children, and your support covers each child's tuition, a custom take-home shirt with your logo, and their place in the room, so their families pay nothing. Put simply, the season does not happen without you.
🪑 Want to help without funding a whole season? Sponsor individual seats instead, $100 each, as many as you like. Every sponsored seat lets a local family attend at no cost. Email contact@givebounty.org and we'll set it up.
Cohort 2 enrollment is open. This summer’s Game Jam season at Fairmount Community Library: Saturday, July 25, 2026. $100 per child per season.

A GiveBounty is a bounty you give. Earn one by playing a child-made game and a slice of the pool is pledged to that game's cause. Every game ships with two GiveBounties built in, so every play moves real money toward a real cause.
Every GiveBounty they build into their game is a milestone someone else unlocks. The more people play, the more your community gives.
Enroll Now 🎮When you put money in the pool, you back the pledges children earn through play. At season close, 70% reaches every cause equally and 30% goes to the cause GiveBounties favored most. You are not just donating, you are letting the community decide where the extra support lands, one play session at a time. Part of every program fee also goes directly into the pool.
We deliberately choose hyper-local organizations that don't have national marketing budgets or celebrity donors. A child's game might be the most attention they get all year.
Contribute to the pool →Families pay to participate, but running the program still costs money: technology, tools, materials, and the work of making every season great. Direct support helps us keep doing it.
Every dollar supports the program directly. None of it touches the season pool.
